Géraldine JENVRIN

Géraldine Jenvrin studied for 8 years Arabic Language, Literature and Civilisation at the Universities Cairo, Damascus (Syria), Sanaa (Yemen), Tunis and at French research institutes IFPO in Damascus and CEFAS in Sanaa. She did her Master I in Islamology on asceticism (2005, University of Provence, directed by Denis Gril) and her Master II on contemporary Yemeni literature (2007, INALCO, directed by L.W Deheuvels). She taught for 2 years at the university level. Within the RELMIN project, she works on her PhD on "The Legal Status of dhimmi in Andalus (11th-13th)" (co-directors A.Garcia Sanjuan, Huelva (Espagne) and J. Tolan, Nantes).
